Total EPA & EPA/Target use fault-split interceptions. When a pass is picked, we don't dump the whole play on the receiver — we split its EPA by what our charting shows: a tipped ball at the line → team, a receiver error → receiver, a throw into a window he couldn't win → 50/50, a catchable pick he should have prevented → 75% QB / 25% receiver, everything else (uncatchable, bad throw) → 100% QB. No other public source can do this, so these numbers will read higher than CFBD's season totals (which simply never charge receivers for interceptions). Explosive Share is computed on raw per-play EPA (a receiver’s own explosive productivity), not off the fault-split total.
